The International Federation of American Football have today announced that Denmark will host the u19 European Championship.
Richard MacLean, President of IFAF welcomed the announcement. 'Denmark have a proud tradition in u19 football and we know that they are a federation capable of staging an event which will provide a tremendous showcase for Europe's young talent.'
Aside from seeing teams compete for the European crown, teams will also be competing for the right to take on the world's best in 2018 including reigning u19 World Champions, Canada, along with other potential qualifiers including the United States, Japan and Australia.
The tournament is scheduled to take place between July 11 and 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The qualificationand tournament structure will be confirmed once the number of entries is confirmed. Entry forms can be requested from IFAF Secretary Chris Josey via firstname.lastname@example.org
The deadline for entries will be March 31 2017.
