The American Football Bond Nederland (AFBN)is the governing body for American Football in the Netherlands. The federation is a full member of the Netherlands Olympic Committee and National Sports Federation (NOC*NSF).
The AFBN has 1,500 members in 20 clubs playing flag and contact football at U12, U14, U16, U19 and Senior levels.
National teams representing each of those categories have taken part in the European Championships. The AFBN is a participant in the Atlantic Cup and in recent years both the Alphen Eagles and Amsterdam Crusaders have participated in the EFAF Cup. Players from the Dutch competition have also enjoyed success in the IFAF Team World, the NCAA and even the NFL.
