Equipment Grant Application

The IFAF Equipment Program is a secondary equipment program that increases the number of participants worldwide by eliminating the greatest barrier to entry - the accessibility and affordability of playing equipment.

Modeled after other successful sports equipment distribution programs, the IFAF Equipment Program will collect, recondition (if needed), store and distribute American football equipment to youth and adult programs worldwide.

The program will be available to IFAF member federations and offer IFAF the opportunity to directly impact the athletes playing the sport worldwide.

NFL International Partnership

Through a partnership with NFL International, IFAF has secured a number of youth (15 & under) playing equipment sets to kick off the IFAF Equipment Program.

The reconditioned equipment was previously used by the NFL's Junior Player Development (JPD) program and is sized for youth football players (ages 15 & under). The equipment "set" includes a helmet, shoulder pads, 7-piece pad set and practice pants. Each set is valued at $150 USD.

Application Process

All applications must be completed online at www.IFAF.org.

All submitted applications will be reviewed by the IFAF Executive Board.

Criteria/Eligibility

Only National Federations which are members of IFAF and in good standing (i.e. 2012 membership dues have been received and all open payments have been settled) will be eligible to submit an application. Applications received from club teams will not be accepted at this time.

Applicant Federations must demonstrate the capacity to receive, distribute and monitor the equipment issued by IFAF.
