As part of its commitment to the ongoing growth and development of the sport across the country, this weekend, the Haitian American Football Federation delivered a coach education seminar to 30 aspiring flag football coaches.
The seminar, led by Federation President Benedick Sejour and his expert team, was staged at the wonderful Olympic Center training facility just outside of Port-au-Prince.
Speaking after the event, Sejour told the media ‘This has been a wonderful day. We know that if we wish to grow the game across Haiti future players will want to receive good coaching so that their playing experience is meaningful. Our education programme makes that happen’.
Sejour continued ‘We also wish to thank all the staff involved with the Olympic Center, in particular Mr. Bony Georges, who have helped make this event so special and allowed us to use their wonderful venue.’
IFAF Managing Director Andy Fuller added ‘It is great to see the work being done in Haiti to ensure that those who take part in the sport have a high-quality experience.’
Fuller added ‘Well done to all involved.’
