Beginning in 2010, a series of 4 games were played between the best 19-and-under players from the United States and from the World were played on American soil. The games lasted from 2010-2013 with the United States coming out on top with a 3-1 record over the World Team. The World Team exposure has led to players receiving scholarships from Division 1 programs like Florida State, Boston College, and Alabama.
The IFAF World Team Program included yearly more than 200 athletes and 25 coaches from 20-25 countries, all of which were nominated by their country's national federation and play/coach for their national teams. IFAF has also incorporated a World Development Team that is hosted at IMG Academy in Florida for 2013 and 2014.
