IFAF partners with Sport:80 to create an online international transfer system

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Sport:80, an award-winning sports technology company, which will see the introduction an online transfer system to efficiently manage the movement of players from country-to-country.

Talking of the new partnership, Andy Fuller, Managing Director of IFAF said:

“We’ve been looking for an online player transfer solution for some time. Having met with the Sport:80 team and seen their platform in action, we’re confident they can deliver exactly what we need. What really excites us about working with Sport:80 is the scalability of their platform. It’s going to provide us with the flexibility to add new features as and when we need them, helping us to transform other areas of our organisation and improve services provided to members.”

Work on the system will begin imminently and further details of the launch date will be announced soon. Once launched, the new online system will replace the current processes associated with player transfer with an innovative online solution providing:

A self-service approach for players to register transfers

The ability to enter nation and team transferring from and to

Online payment of transfer fees

Approval from current to new nation

Automatic issuing of International Transfer Card (ITC)

The player transfer solution will be built on the Sport:80 Platform; a market-leading sports management technology already used by more than 40 sports organisations. The flexibility of the Sport:80 Platform will enable IFAF to configure additional features throughout the lifetime of the partnership. This can include areas such as the management of member nation affiliations, international events, internationally accredited coaches and officials, and player safety and safeguarding among a host of other areas.
