Team Nordic set for global football showcase debut

The International Bowl is a collaboration of USA Football and football governing bodies in each competing country. Each International Bowl features a series of practices, team activities, scrimmages and games for four high-school aged U.S. National Teams as well as U.S. Select Teams.

Team Nordic is a new collaboration between the Nordic federations of American football.

Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark are putting a together a team who is to compete for the first time in 2018. The team consists of players and coaches from the four nations and is built on the foundation of development and giving the best football players in the Nordic regions a chance to compete against their peers at the biggest stage. Beside coaches from the participating countries, Team Nordic will be led by an experienced Head Coach, in Jim Criner, Coach Criner has built a great relationship with the Nordics countries and will be a great addition for the coaching staff.

Few stadiums better represent a city and a sport than AT&T Stadium. This year, all twelve International Bowl games will take place on the field that displays the iconic Dallas Cowboy star at the 50-yard line.

Arlington, Texas, is home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium, an entertainment mecca that has hosted a Super Bowl, an NCAA Final Four, college football bowl games and more.

Located in the centre of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Arlington has a population of nearly 400,000, making it the 50th largest city in the United States. Along with the Cowboys, Arlington is home to the Texas Rangers and Six Flags over Texas, both of which are a short drive from AT&T Stadium.
